In this article, we will write on how to make payment for Safaricom PostPay.
As the name suggests, Postpay simply means paying after using a particular product or service.
In this instance, the services being paid for include voice, SMS and data services by Safaricom.
How To Check Safaricom Postpaid bill
At the end of each month, a bill is sent out via SMS and email regarding the pending payment that is to be made by the 5th of every month.
In addition, notifications are usually sent out on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th of each month for the same.
If there is non-payment by the 7th day, a notice of disconnection will be issued by Safaricom.
Prolonged non-payment of up-to 90 days will lead to automatic termination and transfer to prepaid tariff.

How To Pay For Safaricom PostPay Via SIM Toolkit
- Go to SIM Toolkit
- Click on ‘M-Pesa’
- Select ‘Lipa Na M-Pesa’
- Select ‘Paybill’
- Enter business number as 200200
- Enter Account number as your phone number
How To Pay For Safaricom PostPay Via M-Pesa App
- Download and install the M-Pesa app available from the Playstore.
- Login to your account using your M-Pesa PIN
- Click on ‘Pay’
- Select ‘Paybill’
- Use the search bar to search ‘Safaricom’ and select ‘Safaricom Postpaid’
- Enter Account number as your phone number
- Enter Amount
How To Pay For Safaricom PostPay Via Bonga Points
- Dial *456# from Safaricom enabled sim card
- Select option 3: ‘Bonga’
- Select option 2: ‘Lipa Na Bonga Points’
- Select option 2: ‘Paybill’
- Enter business number as 200200
- Enter Account number as your phone number.
