1. REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCOUNT OPENING
To open an account with Genghis-Capital, you will need to fill in the Account Opening Form
Individual/Joint Accounts (For each account holder)
- National ID/Passport
- A Passport-sized color photo
- A copy of KRA PIN
Sole Proprietorship
- National ID/Passport of proprietor
- A Passport-sized color photo
- Copy of certificate of Registration
- A copy of KRA PIN
Partnership (For each partner)
- National ID/Passport copy of each partner
- Passport-sized photo for each partner
- Copy of Partnership Agreement/Deed
- Written approval for account opening by partners
- Copy of Certificate of Registration
- A copy of KRA PIN of the company and partners
Self-Help Groups/Informal Agreements/Welfare Societies
- National ID/Passport copy of each signatory
- A passport-sized photo of each signatory
- Committee resolution on approval of account opening
- List of approved signatories and their specimen signatures
- Constitution of group or statement that there is no existence of such a constitution
- Certificate of Registration
- A copy of KRA PINs of the signatories
- Append stamp on signed sections
Corporate/Institutional Accounts
- National ID/ Passport copy of each director and signatory
- Copy of memorandum and Articles of Association
- Board resolution on approval of account opening
- List of approved account signatories and their specimen signatures
- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- A copy of KRA PIN of the company and the directors
- Append company seal on all signed sections
Foreign-Individuals/Diaspora
- National ID/Passport of proprietor
- A Passport-sized color photo
NB: All documents to be certified by a public notary
Foreign Corporate
- National ID/Passport copy of each director
- Two Colour Passport-sized photos of director
- Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Evidence of residence of director (Utility bill-last three months, no mobile phone bills accepted)
- Evidence of residence of company/ institution
- Evidence of income of the company (Bank statement)
- Board resolution on approval of account opening

3. ONLINE TRADING REGISTRATION
Navigate to the online trading portal
Click on ‘Register Now!’
You will be redirected to the User Registration page whereby you will be required to input CDS code, National ID/Passport ID or Incorporation No and email address.
Click ‘Submit’
4. MOBILE TRADING REGISTRATION
Download, install and launch the G-Kuze app
Create an account by filling in the required details, read and accept the Terms Of Service then submit.
Upon successful submission, a verification link will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
To begin trading for new clients, completion of all profile details as well as submission of the necessary documents is MANDATORY.
Once this is done, a confirmation of receipt email will be sent to the email address provided further advising on how to proceed with account activation.
5. FEES
Commission is charged on all transactions both (buy & sell). For transactions:
- Below Ksh 100,000, fee is 2.71%
- Ksh 100,000 and above, fee charged is 1.8%
One-off monthly fee of Ksh 100
