Co-op bank customers especially mco-op cash users were shocked when they discovered that they could not access the advance loans services available via the MCO-op app and USSD *667#
Inquiries raised by concerned users to the bank via their Facebook page only exhibited responses that the service was under maintenance and it would soon be back.
Eventually, this would later turn out to be an evasive tactic when customers who went physically to their respective branches to inquire were told that the service was put on hold to all customers except for civil servants regardless of whether their salaries were processed through their bank or not.
