This might be a very obvious question. Duh! I want to work with you because I have nowhere else to go and besides, out of my 100+ online job applications, you are the only ones that responded.

While living by the phrase, “The truth shall set you free”, the above response might surely set you free from proceeding to the next phase of the interview or possibly hinder your efforts towards your pursuit of landing that dream job.

Job applicants maybe driven by various factors dependent on the individual. Such factors may include:

• Unfavorable workplace

• Added responsibilities

• Restructuring/redundancy
• Family
• Flexible schedule

While some of these reasons may seem genuine enough, it is best to keep your response at a professional work experience level.
