MShwari is a mobile loan service formed through a partnership between Commercial Bank of Africa ( CBA ) and Safaricom’s mobile money service MPesa.
It is accessible from the SIM toolkit, as well as from the MySafaricom app.
Mshwari loans range from Ksh 100 to Ksh 50,000 for 30 days at a 7.5% interest rate.
Failure to repay the loan upon due date will attract various penalties as stated in Mshwari Terms and Conditions.
