KCB M-Pesa is a loan product that offers emergency loans to Safaricom subscribers to be repaid within 30 days failure to which defaulters will incur certain penalties from the lender.
Besides the usual KCB M-Pesa self repayment option using the ‘Loans & Savings’ menu, did you know one could also pay the KCB M-Pesa loan for another number via the paybill option?
To do this, simply follow the procedure below.
- Access the phone Sim toolkit M-Pesa menu
- Select ‘Lipa Na M-PESA’
- Select ‘PayBill’
- Select ‘Business Number’ and enter 522559
- Select ‘Account Number’ and enter the national ID number of the person you are paying the loan for.
- Enter the amount you want to repay.
- Enter your M-PESA PIN and click ‘Send’
