The lender recently introduced a USSD option for borrowers whereby new or existing users can now dial *872# to borrow or repay loans.
This comes at a time when the nation is grappling with the negative effects of Covid-19 whereby majority of businesses are either laying off workers or sending them on unpaid leaves.
These circumstances have ultimately resulted to lenders shying away from advancing loans to borrowers in fear of potential defaults.
