Airtel Wewole is a digital credit facility launched through the partnership between Airtel Uganda and JUMO to advance short term loans to Airtel subscribers as well as Airtel Money agents in Uganda.
Airtel Wewole Eligibility Requirements
In-order to be eligible for Wewole loans, you are required to be an Airtel subscriber with access to an Airtel Money account.
Airtel Money is a cash transfer service that enables account holders send & receive funds, make utility payments, purchase airtime etc
To register and activate Airtel money, simply;
Visit any Airtel Money agent carrying your original valid national ID for registration and activation via the ussd code *185#
However, registration to Airtel Money does not guarantee access to Wewole loans just yet since you need to be the qualification criteria.
How To Qualify For Airtel Wewole Loans
To be assigned a Wewole loan, you need to have been an Airtel subscriber for at least 3-6 months with an active Airtel money account.
Airtel Wewole Loan Amount Limits
Qualified Airtel money customers have access to a minimum loan amount of UGX 8,000 up-to a maximum of UGX 500,000 while Airtel money agents have a minimum loan limit ranging between UGX 100,000 to UGX 1,000,000

Select option 8: Wewole
Select option 1: Get Loan
Your available loan limit will be displayed.
In instances whereby you are not assigned any loan limit, simply increase the usage frequency of the Airtel services such as Voice, Data, SMS and Airtel money to become eligible for a loan limit or increase.
Airtel Wewole Interest Rate & Repayment Period
The service charge on Wewole loans is 8% for customers and 6.5% for Airtel money agents to be repaid within a maximum period of 30 days.
Repayment can be done by;
Dialing *185#
Select option 8: Wewole
Select option 2: Repay loan
Choose between full or partial repayment
Enter your Airtel Money PIN to complete the transaction
Failure to repay Wewole loans on time will attract a 10% service fee on the outstanding balance as well as reduction of loan limit.
