HaloYako is a digital loan product offered by FINCA Microfinance Bank and Viettel Tanzania (known as Halotel) for Tanzania residents. The service is accessible via the HaloPesa app or via ussd code *150*88#

Requirements For HaloYako Loan

In order to qualify for HaloYako loan, one is required to be a registered user of HaloYako services as well as HaloPesa services.

How To Apply For HaloYako loan

If you have met the above qualifications, you can proceed and make a loan application through the steps below.

Dial *150*88# and select 7 HaloYako, whereby upon approval, the loan amount will be disbursed directly to the HaloPesa wallet.

HaloYako Loan Amount, Interest Rate and Repayment Duration

HaloYako loans have a minimum amount of Tsh2,000 to a maximum of Tsh15,000 at 10% interest rate repayable within 30 days.

How To Repay HaloYako Loan

To make a repayment, you need to ensure that your HaloPesa wallet has sufficient balance to clear the outstanding loan whereupon the due date, the balance will be automatically deducted.
